How can I create an exe of the flash movie I have created?

I have created a flash movie which I want to make accessible on CD , What is the method to create an executable file from flash. or some other way.How can I create an exe of the flash movie I have created?

After you have created your desired flash movie, save it in a desired location in ur hard disk and get a .swf file. Which you can either get by just testing the movie(Ctr+Enter while working in the file) or by exporting it(File-%26gt;Export).





The .swf file will only play if you have the appropriate Flash Player (offline or online). If you want to create a stand alone then open the .swf file. And while in the player Goto File-%26gt;Creat Projector .


Now what you have is an exe file that can play anywhere independent of flash player;on a CD for example.


But if you want to use the movie in a web page you'll have to use the .swf and not the .exe file.

Go to where the file is saved (folder, desktop, etc...), and then go File%26gt;New%26gt;Compressed (zip) Folder. Then drag your item over that folder, and an executable file will be copied into the folder.

The flash file is a .FLA. For regular viewing by other people, or putting it on the internet you must Export the flash file so that it creates a .SWF file. the .SWF is easy to burn and everyone can view it if they have flash player..


in flash just test your movie and flash automatically creates an .swf file in the same location that your flash file is in. to test your movie click on CONTROL in the top panel and then click TEST movie. or FILE%26gt;EXPORT.... you can change your export settings as well for different outputs.
