I have a Olympus Electronic Flash FL-36 that take 2 double A Batteries. I'm going through them really fast. I can take maybe 5 shots and then I'm having to change them.
What kind of batteries should I be using that will last me a really long time?

Litium batteries will last the longest.
If you are looking for cost effective batteries, look for rechargables. The higher the ma rating the better.
